Yesss you read correctly, I got kissed by a horse today & it made this island girl very happy. You may be thinking gosh that’s gross or why is she soo happy? God & I have been working on a few things for the past few years and one of them is me being present and aware; aware of all He does for me on a daily basis. I have been challenge to see all the miracles that God creates for me, all the things that He brings to me that He created just to put a smile on my face and this week was filled with them.
On Saturdays I get the amazing privilege to babysit my nephew and this past Saturday I decided we should spend time enjoying the out doors (I haven’t been spending time outside due to the NJ weather & this girl was desperate to be outside and enjoy nature) so I took him to the park where there happens to also be a mini zoo, so upon walking off track (I saw the horses and felt that it was okay to go off track for them, did I mention I am an animal LOVER), my nephew was excited because we were walking in mud, as we got closer to the horses, the horses’ keeper came up to us and ask if we would like to feed the two horses…umm yess sir, yess. He handed me a bag filled with apples and I went and fed two beautiful horses and in that moment I heard and felt God saying, enjoy this, this is for your heart, it needs to be refilled with moments of joy and I created this moment just for you to enjoy and just like that I cried because God reminded me of how much He loves me & remembers what makes me the happiest and being the God of love that He is, as I was taking a selfie with my new animal friends, he kissed me..yes one of the horses gave me a kiss on my shoulder & that was all a island girl needed that day, a kiss and I did not just see it as a kiss from a horse but a kiss from my heavenly father, who knew I needed it!!
