Choosing joy is like chosing love. it’s something you do every day, all day. it’s something you fight for with your whole heart. when you truly want something you fight, push and go after it’s even if it means your the only one going after it, you do it until you get it and you continue to do it after that.

Your joy and love does not depend on the people around you, it doesn’t depend on the environment or situation your in. Joy is something you look for and when you find it,  pick it up and use it. use it to be a reflection of who Jesus is. use it yo bring people joy, use it to bring laughter,  peace and hope.

You choosing joy isn’t soly about you, it’s about the people you encounter, the widow who has lost hope, the orphan who feels abandoned, the teacher who is burned out, the parents who don’t know how they are going to provide for their children, they are who you are also chosing joy for. when you choose joy, it spreads like wild flower, when the world says you should be mad, angry, annoyed or broken and you choose joy; you make the world stop for a second and think how? and that’s all they need, that one second when they say how and it sparks curiosity.

Curiosity sparks research, research sparks time spending figuring out how to get joy, figuring out how to find it leads to finding it, finding it leads to choosing it and choosing it leads to living it and living it leads to fighting for it each and every day, each and every second  of your day and life. Choosing joy sparks love and love is what we are all searching for.

so choose joy, choose it for yourself, choose it for your neighbor,  choose it for the lost child, choose it for those your have lost hope, choose it for love.
