Alright alright so truth be told, your girl lost her blogging momentum. What y’all may not know is I am the storyteller coordinator for my squad. What does that mean, well I am the point person when it comes to storytelling (making sure our squad share their stories). Each team is assigned a point storyteller person to help the team on areas they need/motivate them and I am suppose to motive the team storytellers.
This month I FAILED!!!
I legit failed, failed was aware of my failure and walked in the failure. When we first got to Thailand, our host told us that in Thailand communication is a struggle point so our squad came at it with pray and over communicating with our group text, schedule on the white board and word of mouth.
I FAILED with blogging.
One night while out with some squad friends, the topic came up and someone said they are over blogging and feel like they have nothing more to say or share, they described it as blog burn out and in that moment I felt a heavy conviction. I was convicted because I choose not to lead the way as far as blogging, I choose not to motivate my squad, I choose to say out-loud I am taking at blogging and I am okay with that. Conviction for not wanting to share my experience, I failed but a way that broke my heart.
What would have happened it people had Bible writing burnout, what would happen if people stopped telling their testimonies because they were burned out and choose not to share the Gospel and love of Jesus. What would happen if no one wrote blogs about the world race, where would I be ?
So I am choosing to pull up my big girl pants and fight against blog burn out and get my blog momentum back, I am choosing to blog and tell of EVERYTHING God is sharing, calling and teaching me.
My challenge is to V squad, all the squads on the field, missionaries and anyone who has something to share that brings life, light and love….SHARE!!! Just do it share, even if it’s pictures, a link to your favorite podcast, or a list of books that you recommend for readers, just SHARE!!!
