As many of you know I am officially fully funded! So blessed and thankful for this fundraising experience, relying on God to provide and not only watching my faith grow in this area but also the faith of those around me. Before, even $5,000 seemed daunting but through this process I’ve heard language change from “oh well you can try and see,” to “oh yeah, you got that, no problem.” It’s truly a humbling and interesting experience.

I also wanted to remind you that any additional donations made under my name will not be going towards my fund, so make sure you don’t do it! 😉 If you want to help with any other expenses you can always contact my mom and she will get it to me somehow!

I am currently in Atlanta, Georgia and my launch is tomorrow (October 2)! That means tomorrow I will be in a hotel with other squad mates. During the next couple days we will be going to some orientation sessions until we leave on October 5th.

On October 3rd I will be saying my final goodbyes to my family so pray for all of us that we may be strong and that are parents and us may have peace!

During this farewell process I’ve mostly teared up from gratefulness of where God has brought me and how people have blessed me with their words and actions. I imagine being in India later this week and it’s such a surreal and exciting feeling!

Today it’s starting to hit more though and now my gratefulness has hints of sadness. I’m truly going to miss my loved ones. It’s crazy because a year isn’t very long in the grand scale of things but it is in the everyday life, it’s a weird feeling.

So if you’re reading this, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I’M GOING TO MISS YOU!

I’ve received a good amount of letters and notes for later though and that gives me something to look forward to, so thank you 🙂

Just a reminder: I will be having my phone with me during the time I’m gone but while overseas I will just be using WIFI. So the best way to communicate when I leave on the plane is here, email, Whatsapp, or Facebook. I will also not be online as much so I can truly focus on serving and being present. So just remember, no news is usually good news!
