Hi Everyone!
My dear friend Cherise decided to make a video sharing how this year she will donate her birthday to my mission trip. Not everyone can say their friends would do something like that and this is one of the many reasons I’m blessed! Thank you Jesus! And thank you Cherise, I love you, and I pray we remain friends till we make funny granny videos together haha
Also, with the generous donations you all have given throughout these few weeks, and a couple awesome donations yesterday, I am at $910 and only $90 away from my first $1,000 wooohooo
There is a long road ahead but I am receiving encouragement along the way. My recent fundraisers include “Adopt a Jar” where I have labeled 11 jars with the different countries I will be going to. The goal is to get them filled with loose change, cash, notes of encouragement etc. and be sent a postcard as a thank you. I have all 11 jars accounted for and have received many more requests so more will be coming out soon! If you would like to fill one, pick a country and let me know!
One of my jars has been filling and refilling quickly, and complete strangers have sacrificed lotto money to put in my jar haha! Amazing!
I also heard that a regular customer at the store where a jar is displayed was almost scolded for asking for money outside but come to find he was trying to get money together for the jar! He literally took it upon himself to do that, wow!!
I have a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings on Sunday April 17 as well. Anytime from opening to closing, 10% will go towards my mission trip! Just have to show this flyer on your phone!
