Living in a tent, bucket showers, a snake in the shower, hand washing clothes, and giant bugs: these are the things I’m thankful for. It may sound crazy, but each of these simple things that sound dreadful now hold a special place in my heart. And that’s just the beginning. Everything I’ve experienced has shown me God in a new light. I could be lying in a hammock, in worship, hanging with my team, or doing absolutely anything else and the Holy Spirit is present in the atmosphere.
I have spent the last week of my life building relationships, taking down my walls, having my pride stripped from me, and listening to God speak into my life. I’ve grown so much, and I know God has more ready for me. And I can’t wait to share so many stories.
