My team and I have been in Peru for a little over a week now! We left Ecuador late the night of November 9, and got to our final destination the 12th. We are living in a little town on the beach called Pacasmayo. We are partnered with a local church here; we have been helping clean, organize and teach English classes. We are currently learning a dance routine to perform on the beach with some people from the church (photos will for sure be posted).
I am here with team hope and gap v for only two more weeks. I’ve gotten used to living with these ladies for the past 3 months and I’m going to miss them lots, but am the most excited to go back to my family and what is next. It’s the perfect definition of bittersweet. Please pray for the rest of my time here and my transition home- I will be going back to Florida to live with my parents for a while :).
