Hello everyone!
If you’re reading this, you’ve stumbled across my attempt at writing a blog about myself and I just ask that you bear with me– writing about yourself is harder than you’d think! But here goes…
Starting with the basics, my name is Olivia Stevens and I’m currently 20 years old (don’t worry, I’ll be 21 in time for training camp), and I’m a junior at Indiana University. However, I am taking the current fall semester off and leaving for St.Kitts (a tiny island in the Caribbean) on September 18th to spend the next 3 months living with an incredible missionary family and joining them in their ministries!
I absolutely adore my school and am convinced that it’s one of the most beautiful places on Earth (I think the World Race may bring some contenders) and that few things can compare to a Big Ten Men’s basketball game in Assembly Hall and strolls on Kirkwood. However, a piece of my heart resides in Anderson University with my sweet boyfriend and his wonderful friends.
I love my family to pieces from my supportive parents to the most precious and loving grandparents a girl could ask for. My sister and brother-in-law are two of my favorite people in the world, following closely behind their baby girl (she has me wrapped around her finger). They, along with my boyfriend, make up my closest support system.
I’m a lover of cozy coffee shops, boutiques, farmers markets, nice pens and fresh paper, cats, good reads, heart-to-hearts, How I Met Your Mother, flowy shirts, raspberries, Ben Rector, college sports, my home church, Essie nail polish, and home cooking. But above all of this- I’m a daughter of the King, my precious savior who never has and never will stop pursuing and loving me.
If you’re still reading this: 1. Thank you for hanging with me, and 2. Stay tuned for some deeper posts in the future. I hope to share my heart with you all as I prepare for this amazing journey that the Lord is leading me on!
With love,
Olivia
