First off, sorry it’s been so long since I’ve updated you all! I wrote 2 blogs that got lost and it was very discouraging after spending so much time on them. But here are a few stories of some of the amazing people I have met these past few weeks.
Also, I am now in Uganda for my final month of ministry on the World Race! I will be home before Thanksgiving! Please say some prayers as I prepare to transition back into the US to see what God has ahead of me.

Meet the amazing ladies I got to hang out with last month! These are the ladies who attend HOPEthiopa/Rwanda’s tailoring school. For our month in Rwanda, we lived in guest rooms in the school. So we got to spend time with them daily. We did bible studies together, worshiped together in different languages, danced together, had a girls day, and taught english.
The school serves in a way to help women learn a trade, get back on their feet, help send their children to school, and love and honor them for the strong beautiful people they are. Many of these ladies were once in prostitution and have very hard past, things you could probably never imagine. As we shared time with them some of them began to open up and share their stories. As hard as it is to hear, it is beautiful to see the way God has turned around some of their lives. And to see the beauty they have always had start to shine bright.
Sitting with these women day after day, praying with them, laughing with them, dancing with them made me realized even more than before how important each and every person is. I was reminded everyone has a story we know nothing about. Someone can be smiling on the outside, yet we have no clue the horrors of their past, or struggles of the future. I was reminded that everyone deserves love, everyone deserves to be heard, and no one deserves to be judged if you aren’t willing to hear their story and aren’t willing to see things from their side.
Seriously will miss these beautiful ladies so much!

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God;but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” 1 John 4:11-12
Aubrey teaching The Lord’s Prayer in english because that is what the ladies suggested.
