God has truly been amazing. It has only been about a month and I have been getting so close to my goal!
While I do not have a standard job, babysitting has been the best business I could be in. However, during the summer babysitting can be off and on depending on vacations and more family time. To help get more contributions to my trip my mother came up with the idea to send out flyers around my neighborhood stating that I am looking for work to help fund my trip. I stated some simple jobs such as babysitting, house/dog sit, event helper, anything you need assistance with I’d be happy to help.
So far it has been doing great for me! I am making a point to drop by every house in my neighborhood so I can introduce myself. It is really paying off. People are being so generous and creating jobs for me to do. It certainly has put me to work this summer.
With the help of God and others, I hope to reach my overall goal of $12,484.
