5th Day here in Quito, Ecuador. This is what The World Race calls ‘Launch’. The entire W-squad is living together for about a week before we are sent to our actual ministry location. We are built up, challenged and prepared.

*Side note…its pretty chilly here! Not quite what I planned for but still something God is using to strip me of my comfortable and well planned life.

SO, Launch. That means we are living in tiiiight community, being challenged to step into our identity, and being covered with love. My days have been filled with learning to eat on a very small budget, attending financial training meetings, getting to know our teams better, and being challenged and rocked during worship and study of the word. Layers and layers of religious scales have been falling off my eyes, my hands, my feet and my heart. Do you know what it looks like to have freedom breaking out all around you?

Its looks like the Holy Spirit moving,

It looks like identity being discovered,

It looks like unconditional love breaking out,

It looks like a group of young people prophesying truth over the country of Ecuador.

I have only been with my squad for less than a week and yet the love that Christ has given us for each other in indescribable. God is moving in us, and God is moving in Ecuador.

Tomorrow my team and I will be leaving for El Reten….aka, the middle of the jungle. I will have no internet access for the next month but know that you are all in my prayers, and please keep me in yours. I expect great things for this month and I expect God to move. I can’t wait to share this all with you soon! And don’t worry, there will be lots of pictures =)
