When AIM staff tells you to lose your expectations….just jump on board and drop them.
The race so far hasn’t been anything like I thought.…..especially this month.
We came in to Romania thinking we would be working at an orphanage, loving on the kids there, playing games, and helping with their daily life. We quickly discovered this was not the case.
-We have been moving piles of frozen dirt and rocks ALL month.
-We have only played with the kids 3 times this month for about an hour each time.
-AND I have had lots of free time.

Ministry this month may not have been what I would have chosen BUT I think its what I needed.
-I needed to MAKE myself get out of bed to do a ministry that I didn’t love.
-I needed to have faith in the eternal value of our ministry even when I didn’t see it.
-I needed to PUSH myself fight for our team, FIGHT for going deep in relationships when we had over 20 people here this month.
Our time in Romania is said and done. And this Sunday we will get on an overnight train to Bucharest, board a plane, and after more then a couple bus rides, arrive in South Africa. We are unsure of what ministry will look like but I will let you know soon!

Once in Africa we don’t know whether or not we will have internet access, so I’m not sure how often I will be able to update you. I need to raise $2,314.17 by January 1st or I WILL go home. Thats as easy as 6 people signing up to donate $75 for the remaining 6 months of my trip.
