First off….HAPPY DECEMBER! I love this month and all the festivities that go with it.

So I must admit…I have been very hesitant about blogging in general. I wasn’t really to bothered by this fact and honestly had never even though twice about it until yesterday. God brings things up at the most random times. In preparation for my trip I have been asking that the Lord would reveal to me the areas of my life that are preventing me to walk in freedom….His freedom. One of the areas He showed me was my openness with others. I have a problem with that. I don’t like people knowing all about me. But yet I choose to press through that because I know I have nothing to fear. OOHH its uncomfortable for me sometimes but I know that its growing me. So as I get started on blogging…I’m making a point to be honest and open with you all, and with myself.
Expectations of my Trip
-To be out of my comfort zone
– To see things that will shock me
-To see God move in ways that I have not seen before
-To be broken, uncomfortable, tired, dirty, and at the end of myself
-Speaking of dirty, I expect to be really dirty and get somewhat used to it
-To love people, and then have to leave them month after month
-To cry, probably quite a bit
-To miss my family
-To eat strange things
-To be challenged
-To be streeeeeetched by living in such close community
-To miss my mom’s cooking and my warm shower
-To encounter God and gain new freedom in HIM
