We had a lot of changes when we started in the Philippines—new continent, new country, new culture, new teams. It has been a great six weeks in the Philippines. Our squad has been working with Kids International Ministries in two different locations—four teams were in Manila and two teams (including mine) were in Malaybalay. My team stayed in Malaybalay for four weeks and have spent the last two in Manila.
Malaybalay is such a special place. We stayed at a children’s home while we were there and really got to know the kids while we were there. New Faith Children’s Home is amazing. They really do strive to make this a family and to bring the children up in Christ. It has been amazing to see the life, love, and joy in the children.
