Hey everyone! I finally got my t-shirt designed and ready to order! This t-shirt was designed by my very own friend, Devon-Leigh. The top says “Run the Race”, which if feel is my life motto. It comes from my favorite Bible verse, Hebrews 12:1, which states:
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us”.
I have always loved this Bible verse and it reminds me to not let anything hold me back in doing what God wants for me. It reminds me to give everything up to Him and just run the race of life. Not everyone’s race will look the same, though. One’s race may mean serving God by working for the trash company and picking up people’s garbage twice a week while someone else’s race may simply be staying at home and taking care of your kids. Whatever your race may be, it’s all important to God. It reminds me that whatever I do, whether in America or across the world, to honor God in it.
Run with endurance and don’t give up. You will hit a few obstacles on this race and may even get injured, but Jesus is the greatest healer of all and He will take care of you.
