Launch Hotel information
Holiday Inn Atlanta Airport North
1380 Virginia Ave, East Point, GA 30344
*There is a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Make sure you are on the correct bus! There are 2 different Holiday Inns near the airport – go to the correct one (Airport North).
When you arrive at the hotel, you will receive your room assignment. We ARE booking your rooms for you.
Your parents, should they choose to come to launch, will need to book their own accommodations and cannot stay at the same hotel that you are staying in!
*You have already received separate information about the parent event.*
ALL RACERS: You will not be able to register for launch and receive a key to your room until 5:00 PM for those coming on the 6th and 3:00 PM for those coming on the 7th (see below for which day to arrive).
Upon arrival you should report directly to the WILLOW CONFERENCE ROOM. Please DO NOT visit the front desk and ask if your room is ready.
Please note: This room is not staffed and leaving your bags there will be at your discretion.
Please bring your passport to registration.
If you have any conflicts with arrival times, contact your advisor before booking any travel.
If you do not have one of the leadership or coordinator roles mentioned below, you should plan to arrive on the 7th. Please do not make arrangements to arrive earlier as you are not on the rooming list and the hotel does not allow unregistered guests. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Please remember you are expected to adhere to the dress code throughout launch and your entire time on the field. If your clothing does not meet dress code standards, you will be asked to send those clothes home.
Team Leaders, Treasurers, Logistics, Safety, UH Coordinator, Beauty for Ashes, Worship Coordinators, and Story Tellers:
Arrive in Atlanta on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6TH.
You do NOT have to book your own room. We’ve got that covered!
FLYING IN: Arrive by 5:30 PM. When your flight arrives, you have two choices:
1. You can take the shuttle to the hotel first, check-in, and then eat near the hotel.
OR
2. Eat at the airport first and then go to the hotel. (Better idea!)
Either way you need to be at the hotel, ready to go, with a full belly, by 7:00 PM.
Please note: If you arrive early, we ask that you remain at the airport until 4:30 PM.
DRIVING IN: You need to arrive at the hotel, ready to go with a full belly by 7:00 PM.
It would be a GREAT idea for you to arrive no later than 6:00 PM so that you can register, get settled, and make sure you’re ready for the session at 7:00 PM.
If you must arrive early, the WILLOW conference room will be set up for baggage storage beginning at 1:00 PM.
Room assignments will be given at Registration which will begin at 5:00 PM in the WILLOW conference room.

FLYING IN: You want to arrive at the airport by 3:00 PM and take the shuttle to the hotel. Registration will begin at 3:00 PM. Session starts at 5:00 PM. Dinner will be provided.
Please note: If you arrive early, please remain at the airport until 2:30 PM.
DRIVING IN: Please arrive at the hotel with plenty of time to get settled a bit, say hi to your team, and be ready for the first session to start at 5:00 PM.
Room assignments will be given at Registration which will begin at 3:00 PM in the WILLOW conference room.
Dinner WILL be provided on the 7th!
