So, today, God gave me the word ‘Oak’ three times…I was curious about this and as I was writing in my journal I ended up writing on my hand ‘Look up oak’ and well I did. Lol

4. Oak
Because of its heartiness, the oak tree has been worshipped and revered for thousands of years. From the druids who worshipped it to the Greeks and Romans who connected it to their gods, Christianity is only one of a long line of religions to use the oak as a symbol. In Christianity it can stand for Jesus. For instance, Raphael uses the imagery in his beautiful painting, The Holy Family of the Oak Tree (1518). It can also stand for endurance against adversity and the strength of faith in time of trial.
S-Squad, we are all about to hit some walls and trials coming up, a lot of us already are…I just want to encourage you to stand fast and endure, NEVER waver and NEVER let the enemy get a foothold!! You are Mighty Men and Women of God, His Sons and Daughters!! NEVER GIVE UP!!! We are ALL meant to go and change the world. He has you in His hands and WILL provide, hold fast to Him!
Now that I think of it, when I was on my way to get my spiritual name on my chest, the first song I heard was Mercy Me’s ‘Hold Fast’…definitely NOT a conincidence and I can tell you that not a tear was shed and no squirming occurred BECAUSE I was holding fast to Him and in His presence. I cannot describe it effectively, but He was definitely with me and keeping me calm. I almost burst out laughing because of His presence. I was not afraid and it didn’t hurt at all, in fact the needle for yellow fever vaccination hurt worse…lol.
Anyways, this is STILL miracle month and He has plans for us ALL and we must ALL hold fast to Him and to each other, because this squad, this community is where we ALL belong. So, as the site says an oak tree can stand for endurance against adversity and the strength of faith in time of trial…whenever you see an oak tree, remember that!!
