So the enemy is at work. It seems like most of the people (myself included) I’ve talked to recently are struggling with support and fundraising. Earlier today as Janee and I were talking I told her that I felt like the enemy was stepping it up because he knew that we were about to get our launch. Not even two minutes later I got a text from AJ telling me to check my email!
October 2nd eh (ok, well Sept 30 or Oct 1st for some of yall)?! That’s exactly 40 days from now. Do I think this is a coincidence? Absolutely not! You see, just as the little sucka-mouth punk tempted Jesus numerous times while He was in the desert, I feel like that’s how it’s going to be for us. he knows how kingdom-bringing powerful the World Race is and he’s definitely not excited that we’re about to launch. And so for us, we now have the challenge to figure out who is talking to us.
John 10:2-5 tells us this:
The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”
The sheep listen to His voice. Our God has called us to this crazy adventure; we just need to be able to trust in that and His provision. He is also a God of peace, and if for some unknown and unexplainable reason He calls us to leave the Oct race, there will be a peace that truly transcends all understanding. If there is fear, anxiety, doubt, frustration, or pretty much any other negative emotion you can think of, that is the little punk and he is LYING to you. he’s also apparently trying to isolate so many of us and make us feel like we’re going through this alone… the truth is we are not and it’s time for us to really come together and start supporting each other as we annoy the mess out of that punk with our rendition of ‘Eye of the Tiger’!
I fully believe that now the launch date has been given, so many people are going to really start seeing this as the real thing and the support is going to just start coming in! After all, just like Phil told me a few months back, ‘If It’s God’s Will, then It’s His Bill!’ In fact I’m straight up declaring right now that… GOD’S GOING TO PULL AN EPHESIANS 3:20 IN EVERY S-SQUADERS LIFE OVER THE NEXT 40 DAYS!
Now let’s just see if God makes me a prophet! 😉 LOVE YALL… and SEE Y’ALL IN CALI (or GUAT!)
