I am SO excited right now. SO excited. You know why? There are 2 weeks left to your support raising goal. That means that in the next 2 weeks we are going to see miracle after miracle flood into your support accounts!!! Just this morning God gave me this sense of anticipation… “That’s right… just get ready… clear the sleep out of your eyes and just watch…”
The thing is… this isn’t my natural state. My natural state is to buckle down and become controlling. My natural state leans toward fear and control, not excitement and anticipation. But God has shown up, is showing up, and I know He is going to show up!
Some of you are in a place that feels very desperate. Fear, mostly because you feel very out of control, is making a home in some of you. This is not unusual… it’s Satan’s same dumb tactics he uses every time and God has smashed through that same place over and over. But yet we all get there. Recently, one of our staff members was there. Her and her husband were getting to a pretty desperate point in their support accounts, and she was finding herself responding with fear. Knowing that God doesn’t want her to live there, she began to ask God how to get out of that place. God told her that her house was her support account and to worship Him in all the empty places for all that He already has coming to fill those spots. So she did… she danced around her room like a crazy fool thanking God for every dollar on its way to fill that empty spot.
The next day a girl getting ready to go called in… nervous and scared because her and her husband were not getting any support. So the staff member encouraged her and shared with her about dancing in her support account. So… as ridiculous as it seems… this girl tried it.
The next day her and her husband got a check for $30,000. Not kidding. $30,000. Both trips done.
Now you and I both know that the act of her dancing had nothing to do with the $30,000 coming. However, the dancing had EVERYTHING to do with moving her heart from a point of doubt to a point of faith. That’s exactly what so many of us need to do right now. Instead of just waiting in fear, or trying to work up a different emotion, you need to put your body in an act of faith so that your emotions will follow and your spirit will settle in FAITH.
