Squad’s training camp right now and as soon as that is over, it’s time
to hit
the ground running for your camp! First, we would absolutely appreciate
your
prayers for June & July. God loves to move during camp and we expect
great
moves over this next week. They will be here from May 22 through the 30.
Would
you commit to praying for them during that time?
I said, once this camp is over we are going to be focused on making sure
each
of you is ready for camp. Here’s what you need to have done:
Once you know how
you are getting here, I need you to go to the Travel section of your My
Mobilization
Tab and tell me how you are getting here.
2. Passports. I need a photo
or scan of your
passport (the page with your picture) uploaded to the Documents section
of your
My Mobilization Tab. Then I need you to fill in the boxes with all of
the
information. (Note: passport issued by means what country issued your
passport)
3. Medical. Do you take
medication? Do you have allergies?
What vaccinations have you received? Is there anything we need to know
about?
Fill that information into the medical portion of the Documents section.
If you
don’t have anything, enter “none in that section so I know you didn’t
skip it.
4. Personality Tests. You
have 2 personality tests
to complete. I need both of those completed and available on the
Personality
section of your My Mobilization Tab. If you are having issues, call Kara
at
770-983-1060 x 205.
5. Support Raising. You MUST
have $1000 in your
support account before you arrive at camp. If it’s not there, I need you
to
have a check in your hand when you get to camp to pay the balance. Keep
in
mind, your goal is to have $7000 in your support account by September 1.
Soon your
support coaches are going to be setting up days and times for you to
call in so
we can help you through this process.
6. Insurance. I know many of you will be waiting
and saving up to purchase your insurance. That’s totally okay, but don’t
forget
about it! You must have international insurance purchased and uploaded
to your
Documents section before you leave the country. We highly recommend Good
Neighbor Insurance as they have one of the lowest prices and the best
track
record with World Race. You can purchase that at www.gninsurance.com/wr.
7. Begin getting to know each other. If you’ve read through your Preparation Material you’ll notice that we ask you each to post a blog introducing yourself. Great starter blogs are “How I was Called to the Mission Field” and “Expectations of My Trip.” Please take time to post these blogs within the next 2 weeks. Then… comment on each other’s blogs! Begin talking, seeing what you have in common and what you don’t. The whole purpose of this blog is for you to interact with each other… So let’s get started!
before June 10. Most of them will just take you making a little space to
sit
down at your computer and complete these steps. Getting them done ahead
of time
will make it less work for us and less stress for you, so please do so
as soon
as possible!
look forward to meeting you at your training camp! Don’t hesitate to
call us if
you have any questions.
