A WORD FROM GOD
Hey “S” Squad-mates!
Here’s a word from the Lord that I got last night for our Squad…excuse me, our FAMILY, but was just too tired to post.
“Beloved,
Your enemy is not happy right now. In fact he is livid at the truth of your identity being solidified in Christ Jesus this past week. He is not happy that your flesh is DEAD, GONE, DONE AWAY WITH, and you now LIVE based on the new spirit (the Holy Spirit) in you. For you are going to experience persecution both mentally and physically. If this takes root then your heart will very slowly but significantly start to harden and lie to itself, resulting in a defeated/chained life. Therefore, I urge you to root yourselves in Christ setting your minds on the things of the Spirit, who is your life (Rom. 8:5-6). I urge you to continue to walk worthy of the calling you’ve received (Eph. 4:1) presenting your bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God (Rom. 12:1) based on your identity being Christ (Gal. 2:20). Continue to smell, act, and look like Jesus.”
Ok maybe it was more than just a word, nonetheless when I heard this it was clear God wanted to share it with everyone. It is going to be harder than ever being away from our family to keep ATLing, but we need to keep submitting our vessels to how God might want to use us. Lets bathe in prayer, rest in the Holy Spirit’s truth-claims and submit our bodies to God’s good and wonderful plan DAILY. Sound good?
