So… I gotta tell you this story… God just rocks…
On Tuesday, small group was at my house. We were all sharing what God was doing in our lives and there was this common theme of money. I shared that I just felt like God has a theme, beyond just us, of generosity right now. Something is just happening in the spiritual realm over generosity.
Yesterday was a major support deadline for 7 squads… 3 on the field and 4 getting ready to go. Liz is one of those getting ready to go… and life has just been tough recently. Liz went on a trip before and her life completely changed… healed, freed, delivered… well, you know the story. She came home and now people just aren’t quite understanding the new Liz. But she has grace for them so it’s okay…
Except now she’s raising for a new trip. When she shared about the realities of Human Trafficking, her church’s response was “You shouldn’t talk about those things in church.” When she shared about her life change that was just too weird. She has NO support at home. That makes support raising difficult.
In about 6 months she just got about $1500. Yesterday was her support deadline… You know.. $1500 is not enough to Launch. We all love her and were very sad over this. As we were talking about anything that might be out there for her, phones started ringing.
Thirty minutes later she had $4338. That’s almost $3000 in 30 minutes.
Here’s the people from my end who need their Christmas miracle…. Would you guys all rally together so your entire squad will celebrate the New Year as a whole? Would you reach out to your networks to see where God is moving there too? Would you pray in the whole $16,676 that your squad needs to make this goal?
