Hey guys! I am so happy that you’re checking out my blog! Here’s a quick WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE & WHY to help you decide if you’d like to partner with me and be a part of this cause! 🙂

WHO: My name is Norma Cortes, I am 24 years old, and I’m from Phoenix Arizona. I was accepted to ASU’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering to pursue a Mechanical Engineering degree, but I have put that on pause to partner up with Adventures In Missions on the World Race. So right now I’m working full time as a waitress at Oregano’s Pizza Bistro. I’ve been a Christian for 2 years, and during those two years the Lord has revealed so much to me! Right now I’m fully seeking the plan God has for my life and trusting that His plan will give my life a new direction.

WHAT: The World Race is an 11-month Christian missions trip. We visit 11 countries currently facing battles against poverty, disease, sex trafficking, and organized crime to bring hope and joy to those who desperately need it. We spend a month in each country working with the locals and helping each community.

WHEN: My team and I will launch September 9 and we will come back in July 2016.

WHERE: The countries my team and I will visit are China, Mongolia, Japan, Nepal, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, The Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

WHY: Our purpose is to bring hope and share Christ’s love in these nations. To be a friend, a sister/brother, a neighbor, and be a helping hand. We will show Jesus through our actions and be a light to others! We will share the Gospel and bring people to Christ, for His glory!

Thank you so much for reading this & for considering partnering up with me on this incredible journey! You are more than welcome to subscribe to my blog as I will post about all the amazing things that God is doing in these 11 nations! Thank you for keeping us in your prayers & for supporting this cause!
