I am writing to you because I have been accepted to join an organization called The World Race. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries. Our goal is to help local churches and ministries spread the love of God by visiting orphanages, working with women and children who have been sold as slaves into the sex trade, do construction work, teach English, and try our best to meet the needs of each community. In order to make this possible I need your help, so I would like to extend an invitation to you.
About a year and a half ago I was introduced to Jesus and he gave my life a new direction. God helped me understand the importance of helping and serving others. I believe my calling is to go out into the nations to share the story of Jesus and bring hope to those who need it. I trust that God will use my team and I to make a difference around the globe.
There are several ways that you can help me prepare for this trip. The first opportunity to help me is by prayer. Jeremiah 29:12 says, “And then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” I believe God answers our prayers; all of your prayers for our team will help keep us safe, empower us, and encourage us on our journey.
The next opportunity to support me is by giving financially. I need to raise a total of $15,500 for my trip. This money will cover all traveling expenses during the 11 months. When you support me financially you are giving to the cause of sharing hope around the world. All donations are tax deductible.
