Our actual table has arrived – courtesy of the Father. And it’s pretty sweet!
Before any of us even came to Guatemala, God gave vision of a table, un Mesa. A place where much would be birthed – His heart, His love, His children coming to it. And we saw it being made out of doors. Doors from here in Antigua.
But we have no furniture. We’ve been living simple, and eating in our chairs. But God still had His plan in mind…
A friend emailed our team, and said she wanted to bless us with giving the cost of getting our table. God bless her giving heart. So from right here in Antigua, the Father lead us to an outdoor secondhand furniture, carpentry tienda – a 10 minute walk around the block. Here, we found our 2 large doors. The perfect one’s. Luis, a young man, crafted and put together the entire table. And here it stands…
The place where we will dine, with the Father, and with those He will bring to the table.
A table of discipleship.
A table of belonging.
A table of joy and laughter.
A table of being a Son, a Daughter.
A table of the Father.
His table, not ours.
So come…and dine!
(And we hosted our first large group of Missionaries yesterday…and ended the night with a great time with the Father)
