The time has come!!!

Or, as Ricky would say…”Lucy, I’m Home!!!”

Or, as Dorothy innocently said…

“Toto, I’ve got a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore!”

I wonder if I’ll be like Toto, looking up at God, with a quimsical look saying, “Nope, not in LA anymore Pops.”

City slicker from LA moving to GA, the south.

I know, I know, I’m making it sound a lot more dramatic then it is 🙂

It actually isn’t that dramatic.
But it is EXCITING!

Some quick facts of the move:

  • the job: 3 HATS: Human Resource Administration
    Field Support
    Training
  • Need $1,350/month in donations
  • Short term housing – yes! Long term housing – still working on
  • Possession – I have my car, and whatever fits in the trunk, yay 🙂
  • Community – will have great friends/mentors to live amongst
  • Mostly office missionary work/some international travel
  • Cornhole – yep, a southern game, guess I’ll learn
  • Nascar – not sure
  • Braves – probably will go to games, but Dodgers 4 life
  • 4 seasons of weather – awesome!
  • The beach – I’ll miss you!
  • I drive cross country next week and start work the 26th
I’m excited for this next season of life. Who know’s what God has in store!?
But I know that I have responded to the call and His voice to go.

I look forward to:
1 – A new season of pouring into the lives of the people at AIM and The World Race
2 – Being developed into more of the person/man/leader/worker that I am
3 – Doing the work of the Kingdom

Thank you for all your love and support as I make the great trek to this new season in life!

Goodbye LA, see you soon Georgia!
A little quote for you, my readers…
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I’ll miss you
Until we meet again!
