I knew this moment would one day come. Now that it has, the word ‘surreal’ comes to mind. It’s a challenge to say goodbye and let go of all of this, but also very exciting to say hello to all that is next.
(Farewell lunch, with the WR department. Amazing co-workers/friends)
I will be moving on from my full-time position with the World Race in Gainesville, Georgia, and moving to Antigua, Guatemala (through the same organization, Adventures in Missions). I leave in a few days, February 7th. I’ll be there for about 5 months. Maybe longer or not, depending on what God says. I’ll be going with a team from AIM. We are beyond excited to see what God has for this next season. As one of the leaders of this has said, “The winds are moving.” I absolutely feel a stirring in my spirit, that God is doing a work that is Holy. I’m not sure all what it is, but I know this is very good, what he is about to do. He’s calling us to faith, surrender, discipleship, favor, and power.
When God called me out, and into this next thing, my heart came alive in brand new ways. I can’t wait to step onto the soil of that country, and to do life with the Spanish people. My heart has wanted to do this for many years. And now the time has come, to go home to my people-the latin people, and be me. I don’t know what is in store, but I know it must be good, with how I have been able see God’s hand at work in all of this.
My time with the World Race has absolutely been an amazing journey…

Over 3 years. I’ve seen many lives impacted and changed. My fellow missionaries here in the States, and lives in Asia, Africa, Europe. Many trips domestically and internationally. Partnership with dozens of ministries around the world. And personal friendships gained.
I know I have been changed and refined for the better. And I’ve seen God’s hand move in love, power, and grace to countless lives everywhere.
I’m so grateful to Seth Barnes, founder of Adventures in Missions, for allowing my time with the World Race. For all the bosses I’ve had, the co-workers, the co-leaders, every single person that I’ve met along the way at the Race. I will take all these memories and lessons with me each day.
And if you’re reading this, you have probably had an integral part in my journey. And I sincerely thank you for that. A blog cannot do justice, in thanking you. But you know who you are, and how special you are to me. I sincerely thank you for your friendship, love, and partnership.
From one season to the next. I invite you to be a part of this move of God. It’s exciting, it’s faith filled, and it’s unfolding every single new day. You’re invited to be part of what He is doing. Updates to follow
Pictures of the season to come. Antigua, Guatemala…
“The LORD utters his voice,
before his army,
for his camp is exceedingly great;
he who executes his word is powerful.
For the day of the LORD is great and very awesome;
who can endure it?”
(Joel 2:11)
