I kept hearing it, “Come up to me.”
Over and over. The sense, the whisper, the voice.
Again and again, “come to me.”
As I walked the streets of Antigua running errands.
As I laughed with teammates eating delicious food at the dinner table.
As I laid in my bed at night, restless, unable to sleep.
“Come to me.”
I knew what it meant. (Don’t we always?)
But I kept putting it off, and life kept pushing it down (Have
you ever done that?).
However, I knew the time had come. I couldnt resist it
anymore.
Have you ever had the nudge? A word from God, a whisper, a
call from him?
This is what I had been getting for several weeks, maybe
even a month.
God was inviting me, “come up to me.”
I finally did. This past week I went away, to Him.
What happened, has left me speechless, and in awe.
He gave me the gift of Him. He gave me, simply yet profoundly…Him.

But right now it’s not about telling you what He did for me.
It’s about reminding you what He can and wants to do for you.
Have you been hearing his voice, sensing his call, his
nudge? To go to Him?
Whatever it is He’s calling you to – a phone call, an email, a
retreat with him, a change, a reconciliation, a burying of something, a resurrection of
something. Whatever it is, He’s whispering to you. Take the time, and do it. Let
His strength and courage to get you moving carry you through to meet with him.
There is much He wants to give to you. And only He knows
what it is. He loves you. He takes you back to Himself. He takes you forward.
He chooses you.
“Come to me” (Matthew 11:28)
“Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” And God said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name, ‘The Lord.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.” (Exodus 33)
Remember – the climb up the mountain is always the challenge. Seeing His view from the top – always makes it worth it.
“Come to me” – thats all I heard.
It’s okay if that’s all you’re hearing.
There is more to it, so why not go?
