Early on in our month five adventure, we came across a little sandwich shop in the streets of the capital city. I am not even sure if it has a name. It’s run by three sisters who greet us with smiles every time we walk through the entry way. When we first arrived, I don’t think any of us thought we’d go there very often, but it’s quite probable t

o find us there at least once a day – sometimes two or three times! We just can’t seem to keep ourselves away.
Chicken sandwiches cost only 10000 kip, which ends up being a little over a dollar. Top that off with a 5000-7000 kip real fruit smoothie, and you have yourself a wonderful lunch…or dinner…or both. Everything is made fresh and the food is wonderful. You can call this a free advertisement if you want!
It could only be the Big Guy that keeps leading us back there. The girls speak limited English, but it’s a joy to chat with them as much as we can. Even now we are still learning what we can about them, but they know each of our names and we know theirs. We’re not sure how many tourists they see on a daily basis, but it’s our goal to be a blessing to them and give them some love from America. They are truly a blessing to us as well.
Please include this little sandwich shop in your prayers – that their business would be blessed and that they see what a relationship with our savior is all about.
