It feels like a dream when I think about it…. one month. One month till I am in who knows which of the 11 countries I am heading to next year and doing who knows what kind of ministry. I am super excited but this month is going to be rough, I have a lot of fundraising to do including a garage sale tomorow, a concert the following week, a outdoor movie the following week and possibly a chick-fil-a 'spirit night the week after that and then I head off to Chicago.
All that being said, some quick updates to let you know about. First off I have a sponser who is willing to match any fundraising that I make for the next two weeks, soo if you are thinking about donating NOW IS A GREAT TIME! Everything you give will be automatically doubled.
Second update, turns out I was doing something right a few weeks ago durring training camp that our squad leaders thought I would be a good co-logistics cordinator for our entire squad. So what does that mean? Basically I along with my partner in crime Leane will be orgainizing transportation, budgeting for debrief weeks, and travel times, and getting visas for the entire 59 person team durring the next 11 months!
To be frank, the job both scares the daylights out of me and excites me to see the way G-d is going to come through and help us do what we can't do on our own. It's a HUGE responsibility and I am completely honored that they chose us to do it. I can't wait to work to serve the Lord in this role and cannot wait to see the way HE grows me through it.
