I do not know what to put here, so this is ME:
-My full name is: Janina Anne Szymanowski. When I was younger Janina was “too girly” so I shortened it to Nina.
-My parents called me “beanie” on every video we have of me as a child.
-I’m a PK- A priest kid.
-I was born in Greenville, grew up in Summerville, and live currently in Columbia, South Carolina
-I am blessed to have two amazing parents, Michael and Brenda.
-I have one sister, Anna, who is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside.
-I gave my life to Christ the summer after my freshman year of college while working at Camp St. Christopher.
-I am in my “red shirt year” as I like to call it, finishing my 5th year of undergrad at the University of South Carolina.
-I am a Psychology/ Biology major, hoping to go to PA School and go on Medical Missions, but if God calls me elsewhere, I will follow.
-I may or may not be addicted to coffee. A habit i am unwilling to break at this moment in time.
-I love adventure.
-I led YOUNGLIFE at Lexington High School for 3 years, and now I am leading College Life, the training to become a YL leader for freshmen and sophomores.
-I love to sail and kayak. Being near the ocean is being home to me.
-I love Mounds, the dark chocolate and coconut bar.
-Laughter is crucial to my day.
-I love children. I started babysitting at 12. I love their innocence. I love the way they show you their affection for you. I love their big smiles with their babyfat still on their cheecks. Mostly, i just love how funny they are!
-I have had two knee surgeries: meniscus in the 9th grade (left knee) and ACL sophomore year of college (right knee)
-i own all 10 seasons of friends, and during both of my knee surgeries i watched them an infinite amount of times. Needless to say, i can relate all that is life to an episode of friends, all while using direct quotes.
-I love to draw/paint/and just do art-esque projects on the regular.
-I love to be outside.
-i love to run.
-My two favorite nights of the week are A)Four Tacos for $5 night at Yo Burrito and B) Slice NIght at Pizza Man.
-I realize that without Christ, my life has no point. I have been saved by a merciful and gracious Lord.

-Most of all, I am so excited to begin this journey. To vetnure out into the great unknown and to trust in a God who is capable of doing things without us, but delights in using the weak to teach the strong.

“Look at the nations and watch–Be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you not believe, even if you were told!” -Habakkuk 1:5
