My name is Nina McNerlin and I am 19 years old. I was adopted from Russia at the age of 7 with my younger sister. We moved around quite a bit, but I would have to say that I grew up in Clermont, Florida (that’s where I finally got my license!). I have amazing parents Jim and Teresa and six other siblings. Four of which were also adopted from Russia. That’s 7 of us all together! You could say its a pretty big family.
My hobbies include reading books, learning new things, any kind of outside activity, traveling to new places and COFFEE!! I also love being silly and making people laugh.
Currently I am living in Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras. My family and I are serving an organization called Legacy of Hope Foundation. They help by restoring hope to children and families in crisis situations and help them experience the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
I am super excited to be part of the World Race gap year because it puts some of my favorite things together in one amazing opportunity.
