Wow I can’t believe that it’s over! Pulling into the Adventures in Missions driveway was making me nervous. What If I couldn’t make friends, what would people think of me, and is this what God really wanted me to do? These were all the questions that were going through my mind as I was checking into camp.

“I am checked in and say my goodbyes to my parents. I head down to the campsite and set up my tent, all these people rush me and ask me who I am and where I am from…”

(fast forward) Our squad became great friends and I love my brothers and sisters. Throughout the 10 days we had many field scenarios (things that could possibly happen while are on the field). As a group, we got half of our things taken away one night; they said this could happen if the airport had lost our bags. Another night we had to go camping in community tents, we slept in an “airport,” and we had to make our own shelters one night. Every night we would have worship. Worship was the best part of the day with all my brothers and sisters shouting out their love to God. We had many miracles that happened throughout the week and I was blessed to be apart of those miracles! I LOVE LOVE my team so much; I have been blessed with such a great team. The love that we all have for Jesus is unspeakable and I can’t wait to spend 9 months with my team and my squad! Thank you for all your prayers and support!

In Christ,
