Dear Family and Friends,

It’s great to be back in the States after nine months overseas. My trip this past year was an experience that will never be forgotten. Following is a little recap of what happened this past year. Three months was spent in Guatemala, Malaysia, and Botswana, respectively. In Guatemala, while living in the mountains, we worked with widows and orphans, praying with them, providing food, and making repairs to their housing. My team also spent one week with Habitat for Humanity. One week we made history as we worked with Wycliff and distributed Bibles translated in Quectical, for the local Mayan village people. In Malaysia we were in a town called Kuala Lipis where we taught English and painted the school rooms. Lastly, in Botswana, I helped out in a hospital and my team played with over 100 children nightly, ran Bible School, and had a youth group with them. While I loved Guatemala and Botswana, Malaysia proved to be a great challenge, mentally and spiritually, but also was the location in which I grew the most spiritually and in leadership. In each location, I was fortunate to lead music, using my guitar and singing. I found that to be a tremendous blessing to serve in that manner.

My team was very supportive of my leadership skills and I was recommended for another trip, as a leader. I have been given the opportunity the lead a trip with Adventures in Mission called Ambassador. The ambassador trip takes high school students to do work similar to the Gap Year program. I will to head back to Antigua, Guatemala. I loved Guatemala when I was there this past year. I cannot wait to do ministry with the high school kids.

Even though I am leading the group, it is still considered mission work, and therefore, I am again in need of support for my trip. I will be raising $1,350 in the next 3 weeks. I would love your support financially and with your prayers as well. If you do choose to support me financially, go to my website, nikolasyoder.theworldrace.org and click the donate button. Thank you so much for your support both through prayers and financial assistance.

It has been my pleasure to serve Jesus Christ as a missionary this past year. You have been such a big part of that experience, due to your support. I give thanks to the Lord for your faithfulness and for believing that the Word of the Lord needs to be spread throughout the world.

In Christ,

Nikolas S. Yoder
