A N T H E M
this week i would like to introduce you all to the 7 women who are a part of my team! these women disciple me, call me higher, and encourage me in love. i think our team name is quite fitting because Jesus really is the ANTHEM of their hearts.
gel.
mighty. constantly in pursuit of the father. calls people higher. compassionate. grit. servant. gel pushes me into deeper intimacy with god & also pushes me further in everything else that i do. she always tunes her ear to listen to me & always gives me a heavenly perspective. she looks like jesus because her love for not only me but the rest of the squad as well is unwavering.
fun fact: we always have to have either her spanish music or the jonas brothers playing while we cook or clean together :,)
jenay.
soft & sweet. vulnerable. obedient. bold. scripturally sound. one of my favorite things about jenay is that she lives her life in constant worship to the father. she quite literally raises a hallelujah in the midst of literally anything. this is a huge thing that she brings to the table for our team! she is learning to live loved & it’s such a beautiful thing to watch her go through…every day the Lord refines her more and more!
fun fact: jenay is actually the youngest one in our squad, but you would never know because of how mature she is! she’s always willing to be vulnerable & go deeper with us.
maddie.
powerhouse. growth. tender. laughter. empowered. confident. i have watched mads grow into a women who is confident that the holy spirit is within her. i remember multiple times where my tummy hurt or i had a headache (thanks gluten) & her first instinct was to pray over me. she is literally always laughing (& her laugh is quite contagious) at something, showing us her childlike spirit.
fun fact: she will do literally anything for some cookie dough
emily.
fierce. observant. intelligent. hospitable. em offers a lot of knowledge & wisdom to our team. she is always willing to serve us! she notices and sees you, qualities that make her look a whole lot like the Father. i have seen emily step out into vulnerability in sharing her thoughts with us, i know that she has a lot to say so it has been amazing seeing her open up more & more! the word “fierce” is a word that God has given me for her multiple times, & i am eager to see how it blossoms:)
fun fact: she makes yummy coffee (which says something because i don’t even really like coffee) & yummy london fogs!!
lise.
liberated. freedom. understanding. enthusiastic. redeemed. lise is a woman of passion, who walks in freedom & fights for what she believes in. lise is a prayer warrior. she is a walking testament of redemption & is fearless in sharing that with others in her life. she inspires me in that sense:)
fun fact: she can catch some z’s literally anytime or anywhere.
megan.
delivered. hopeful. faith filled. hungry. megan’s testimony is a story of deliverance. she is firmly standing in her faith & sharing the light of the holy spirit with those close to her. everyday i see her hunger for more of God & she is always sharing with us what he is teaching her. when i look at megs i see hope & she is outwardly spreading that hope every single day.
fun fact: this girl is a NESTER. the first thing she does whenever we move houses is unpack the entirety of her 60lb backpack to make her space feel homey.
cami.
fearless. unashamed. joyful. spirit led. love. cami is our alumni team leader! she invests in genuine friendships with all of us. she has wild joy for jesus & is unashamed of how she shows it! every bit of knowledge that she imparts to us is spirit led & she shows us how important it is to let yourself be led by jesus. cami shows us god’s love every day in different ways which make us all feel very known and loved by her.
fun fact: she has the biggest laugh of anyone that i know!!
