Hey friends!
Welcome to my little blog, so happy to have ya! Heres a sneak peek into my pre-race life!
I’m from Hudson WI & for those of you who don’t know this, it’s SUPER on the border of WI/MN (see map for reference LOL cause it results in so much confusion every time I try to explain this to someone who doesn’t live in the area)
So basically my whole life takes place in Minnesota (school, work, etc) & the only thing I really do in Wisconsin is sleep at my house lolol.
ANYWHO, I have one lil sista & her name is Lexi. We’re like 18 months apart or something like that, so we’ve been super close most of our lives which is so cool! Buuutttt we couldn’t be more different!
I officially gave my life to Christ when I was a senior in high school (2017) & it has been such an amazing crazy wild journey since then! So crazy and wild that I even got baptized last February!
Now for a few random fun facts! The Father has given me an actual army of amazing friends & people who love and support me! He really showed me that when almost 40 people showed up to watch me get baptized! I even included photo evidence cause I know how cray cray that sounds!
I love road trips a whole lot, the color yellow makes me SUPER happy, I’m a huge horse lover, & leading 4th grade small group on Sunday mornings has become one of my favorite passions. I knew that I wanted missions to be part of my future when I went on my first international mission trip to Guatemala the summer after I graduated. I loved it so much that I went to Haiti last year! When I heard about the race, watched the videos, and read the blogs I got butterflies in my tummy & knew that I was being called to the race. I actually was supposed to launch last year with V Squad, but the Lord clearly called me home for this year…even though it was hard for me to see that at first.
