Exactly one month until I leave the country. Whoa. This makes it more real when I say it. One more month!

January 5th, I have to be in Atlanta, Georgia for Launch. Launch is where I will get together with Adventures in Missions staff, our squad leaders, coaches, and A squad (along with 4 other squads) to have last minute meetings and fellowship before we take off together in our squads to our first countries on January 9th. My first country is Guatemala. And parents get to come to the first part of Launch! My Mama is going! YAY!

It came so fast! Where did the time go?

So many things to do, so little time.

To Do:

Online Training

FUNDRAISING- need more funds!

Shopping for last minute supplies and clothes!

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING for family and friends! AH!

Spending time with family and friends (I can’t see them all… I know)

PACKING and fitting everything into my backpack!!!

People keep asking me what I am most excited about and what I am most nervous about. I am so excited to see my squad again! I can’t wait to see the faces of my new family! ONE MONTH! I am also excited about all the new relationships I will form with people in 11 different countries! And how God is going to use me!

What I’m nervous about? Right now, that I will pack everything I will need and fit it into my backpack! I know that seems silly, but it's on my mind right now. I am also thinking about not having alone time. I am an introvert and recharge being by myself. That is NOT going to happen next year. I’m trying to get as much time in as I can! And I will have to learn how to recharge another way. Yikes!

Shout out to my friends and family! I will miss you all so much, but you will not be forgotten! And please update me on your lives! It will be nice to hear from home. I love you all!

It’s Christmas time! Enjoy your time with your family and friends and don’t take them for granted. You may have to leave them for a year ; ) And remember what the reason for the season is…..Jesus! God sent His one and only Son to this earth for you and me! Jesus was born to die for our sins. That is unconditional love.

Merry Christmas!
