Time and time again I am reminded that I serve and love a God of good gifts. When I look out and see the sun shining down. When I hear the waves crashing. When I smell the beautiful flowers. When I see the smiles on people’s faces. And sometimes he blows me away with a gift I could have never imagined.

Ever since I was a junior high I have been going on trips around the globe to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Last year I went on the ultimate trip around the globe visiting 11 countries in 11 months, and I knew where I arrived in my last country on the World Race it wouldn’t be my last.

A man I had the pleasure of meeting in South Africa on my 11 month journey told me, “You will be traveling a lot. Get used to it.” And from that moment on I have been wondering and dreaming of the places God would take me.

Last weekend I ran into one of the pastors from Paz Naz and I was talking to him about their annual mission trip in the summer. I have been on this trip 2 times in the past, and I had missed the deadline to sign up for this summer. A handful of the people going had told me they wished I was going with them this year. The pastor told me there may be a spot opening up and it could be mine if I wanted it. He told me he would pray about it and I told him I would as well.

God loves adventure and loves to give his children gifts.

I was called TODAY by that pastor asking me if I would like to join them on their trip to Belize! The trip is June 25-July 4. Talk about spur of the moment. That’s in 3 weeks! But I know God has a plan and he will provide the funds I need to go. He planned for me to meet up with the pastor, and he has a plan for me to go to Belize.

God is a God of good gifts.

Praise Him!
