I am a 25-year-old beach girl living on the west coast in beautiful San Diego, California. My name is Nikki and I love Jesus with my whole heart! I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a major in Kinesiology/Athletic Training. Though I have a love for sports medicine, I am more passionate about living a life for Jesus and I strive to do his will. He has filled me with a deep joy and love that I want to share with others. I want to share what the Lord has taught me, and what I am still learning.
I work part-time as a nanny for a family who has taken me in to be apart of their family. I have been with them for almost 6 years! It is going to be hard to leave them for 11 months while I am on the World Race, but I know they will be apart of my life forever! I love you Eves family!
I am also a Certified Athletic Trainer. Currently I work per diem for UCSD and Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego covering sports games, practices, and tournaments. I enjoy working with athletes and tending to injuries if necessary. I was thinking about going into Physical Therapy, but I think the Lord is redirecting my desire. That began to form when I didn't get into PT school, and after working in a couple PT clinics over the course of 3 years. My heart is growing more towards missions and somehow incorporating my skills in sports medicine with that. I never thought I would be going into missions….God has a sense of humor and knows what's best for us even when we have no clue!
