Heading into the WR I was certain that one of the biggest struggles I was going to face was my frustration with the language barrier going from country to country. I hate not being able to communicate with people. However, I’m finding that it actually hasn’t been that big of a problem at all.

All month long, as my team and I have gone to different neighborhoods and churches, I’ve constantly been reminded of how the Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27). One day my team and I headed over to part of the bar district here in town. As we talked to some of the people there that were clearly in entangled in the hopelessness of alcohol and drug abuse this came to mind:
(2 Corinthians 3:17)
The Spirit was with us and there was JUSTICE
When we got see God’s provision for
The Spirit was with us and there was FAITHFULNESS
The Spirit was with us and there was HOPE
When we had the privilege to celebrate
The Spirit was with us and there was JOY
When the faith of the Guatemalans led them
The Spirit was with us and there was MERCY
When we visited the local orphanage
The Spirit was with us and there was COMPASSION
When two very different cultures,
The Spirit was with us and there was SALVATION
And this is just the beginning! As we continue to walk through the nations during the rest of this 11 month journey I have absolutely no doubt that the Spirit will continue to go before us and bring out these things… plus many more. And it’s all because,
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LOVE
