After our first week of traveling ministry in Kuala Krai, my team set of to Kuantan for a few days. At one point I really started missing my kids and realized that the last 6 weeks of the race, were the only times I hadn’t constantly been around teenagers or an orphanage. And so… I prayed that this next week we’d get the chance to somehow be around one of these types of ministry. God must have heard…

Because I got BOTH!

This week just happened to be a school holiday for the kids, and so the church had decided to hold a two-day youth camp that they put us in charge of. We did dramas, played games, and taught them sessions on team building, self-esteem, and growing deeper with Christ!

And then, at one of our family visit’s the pastor overheard me talking about my work at the Children’s home back home in America. That night the pastor told me he had rearranged our schedule so that we could go to a local children’s home! The next morning we went and visited the 22+ kids, telling them stories, doing a skit, and teaching them songs. It was definitely just what this mama’s heart needed!
