In about a month I’ll board a plane, leaving the US behind for 11 months. It’s so crazy for me to think that I’ll be gone this long… I mean a lot can a happen in a year. Especially in a year like this. Honestly though, I can’t even begin to imagine the things I’ll see and how God will show up, but as I’ve thought about it all, one word has constantly come to mind…
It really shouldn’t be a surprise… it is the underlying theme that God used to call me to missions in Hebrews 11:8. It’s the one thing I was told I was given as a Spiritual Gift at training camp. And I know there will be times where it will be the ONLY thing I’ll be able to hold on to.
Do I dare say and believe that I will see things like this day to day, all year long, as I head out into the Nations? That I’ll get the chance to see miracles like physical healings, prophecies fulfilled, demons casted out, and dead men raised? That God would choose for these to happen through my squad, my team, and even possibly myself?!
Several times in the Bible, especially throughout the Gospels, we find that by faith, people have been healed… forgiven… set free… saved. And then you have ‘The Hall of Faith’ in Hebrews 11 where numerous Men and Women of God were accredited with such extreme measures of faith. This next year is going to be an opportunity for me to actually see the Bible come to life and start actually walking out these truths. In John 14:12 we’re told that those who have faith will see even greater things than Jesus did.
So yes, I do believe. In fact, I also declare it…
I’m not talking about the faith that I used to have where I’d say I believed but then fall on my own strength two seconds later… I WANT A KINGDOM BRINGING, LIFE BREATHING, SPIRIT LEADING, MOUNTAIN MOVING, STORM CALMING, PROPHECY FULFILLING, MIRACLE HAPPENING, BODY HEALING, DEAD RISING, LOVE EXPRESSING, FREEDOM GIVING, GLORY REVEALING KIND OF FAITH!”
