Here I am sitting in a Singapore airport awaiting our flight to Cambodia. I can’t believe month one is already over– that our time in the Philippines is already over. I also can’t believe that in one month I have been on six different flights totaling about thirty-six hours of flight. This doesn’t include the countless hours spent on layover.
My mind still hasn’t grasped the concept that even though one month is done we still have ten to go. It’s still so surreal that I’m here, hard to believe that as I prepare to step on a plane it is one that is taking me to Cambodia and not to my home (on a side note: friends/family, feel free to send me e-mails with football updates, internet might be scarce where we are going so keeping up on scores & stats might be difficult! Updates about yourself & life is also welcomed! Please also ALWAYS feel free to send in prayer request, I’d love to be praying for you all! Basically though I just love e-mails!).
Prayer for Cedric: He is doing better and is back at the children’s home. Praise God for that! He is still sick, though, and in need of surgery to remove his inguinal hernia. Although he is doing tremendously better he is not completely out of the woods yet. Please pray that God will heal him completely. I’m looking forward to seeing him grow into a strong man of God someday 🙂
Prayer for my BFF Joseph and his wonderful mother Rona: God blessed me with these two this past month and words can’t even describe what they mean to me and how grateful I am to know them and their beautiful faces. Since knowing Rona she has progressively shared more and more of herself and her story with me– a story that penetrated me to the core of my heart and soul.
Prayer for all the ministry we did in the Philippines: Pray that all the seeds that were planted by myself, my team and the rest of “ouR” squad will grow in good soil. Pray that the roots will reach to the depths of the earth and continue to sing His praises and expand the kingdom for generations to come.

Prayer for myself would also be greatly appreciated. Its no secret this has been a rough month for me. I’ve struggled with a lot of doubts and lies. I’ve been feeling like I’m being stripped of everything that is not of Him, which I’m immensely grateful for, it just happens to be a little painful. Pray for grace during this transitional period in my life and for the strength and desire to continue to choose Him and seek Him daily.
