A few weeks ago we got news that there was a baby in one the communities around here that had previously been found by Team Malachi and we needed to find him. This wasn’t just any baby. This was an amazing, joyful, beautiful child of God named Jayson who was born with a severe cleft palate. We were told that Operation Smile wanted to see him and if he checked out; they’d take care of his surgery. With the help of Emily Miles some members of our team [the Liberators] were able to find little Jayson. Later that week were had the opportunity to take him to the Makati Hospital where we waited and prayed while Operation Smile did all the screening which included; getting his photo taken, being checked out by a general doctor, a dentist, a speech therapist and an anesthesiologist.

(Before)

After a day of excited anticipation God answered our prayers. When we left Operation Smile that afternoon we left not only with Jaysons surgery scheduled for that Monday but also with a renewed sense of hope and more praise for our Heavenly Father then words can describe.

(After. Look at those perfect little lips! Praise the Lord!)

Jayson has his surgery on Monday, we were even able to pick him and his mother up from the hospital [thanks to Gods perfect and divine timing] on Tuesday and bring them back home. I am so excited for Jayson and his family and can’t wait to see the ways the Lord will continue to look after this precious family and provide for them! Please keep baby Jayson and family in your prayers!
