These words [my blog title] can describe the past few days in

Pattaya. Every year Pattya praise is held at the end of one of the most walked streets in Thailand. Walking street is home to prostitutes, numerous tourists, drugs, sex, and tons of loud music. For the past six years it has also become home to hundreds of worshippers. Hundreds of people who beg to see God’s presence on this city come for three days to worship and pray at the end of this street. It was pretty awesome to see God allowing this to be arranged. As you walked down Walking Street you will rub elbows with prostitutes, natives, drunks, old people, foreigners, or the random manikin that is out too far. All around is loud music, signs for go-go dancers, or bull riding. Everything the world is, one could find on this street. Then at the end you see this huge sign with lots of lights. Nothing dark, everything light up. For a believer it’s literally walking from darkness to light in Christ. The past few days as I walked this street to worship, I felt this was a literal sign for what God wants to do and is doing here.

I believe God is bringing people from darkness to light. I worshipped with some of those people this week. Even people who had no idea who God is came and hung out with us. They were attracted to Jesus. God is moving mightily here. I’m excited to work more hands on in the Tamar center this week. To build some relationships and pour into the women and staff here. God has been so sweet to my team and I to allow us to just worship and pray with the city before diving into work. And he would allow us to be ten minutes from the beach!!

To me our team name is always evident when God allows us to have ministry in places such as this…He truly delights in us.
