St. Thomas Aquinas defines love as “to WILL the good of another” or “To desire for another to succeed.”
This month I fell in love. I fell in love with Jesus. It hit me out of no where. I didn’t expect nor was I even thinking about it. It’s a wierd thing to think about…falling in love with something you can’t see, touch, or feel. But I did. I realized love looks all sorts of ways. It’s more than just a feeling or emotion. It also can be action. God shows us that often…everyday actually. His love is proved on the cross and then it’s walked out in our lives. Look around and see his hands working your life together for good…that is LOVE.
This is a blog about love but it’s more than that. As of today I only need 2,150 dollars to finish my support raising. WOOT! The Lord has shown his love time and time again by providing. The cycle of love is crazy to me. You guys love me in listening to the Lord…that is love.
Febuary is the month of love. AMEN! My proposal to YOU = on the 14th of the month, shoot fourteen dollars into my support account! The reality is I KNOW you want to buy me some chocolate or heart-shaped candy that confess your undying love for me! Instead, why don’t you put that in my support account! That few bucks can actually feed me for a few days! It can give me clean water to drink and allow my team and I to minister to the people of Africa. Please hear me though, I know you guys love me and IM NOT SAYING ‘if you don’t give you don’t love me.” NO.! I trust the Lord. He’s provided over 12,000 dollars already so it is his nature to finish the work. I’m only offering you an opportunity to give.
