Forward: An agreement, a promise, a covenant. advance beyond the usual degree; advance for a season; to forward one in improvment.
In the horse world one might hear this word a lot. Mostly in teaching the horse to move the act of moving forward is usually the answer. You want them to move out forward. From moving forward you could teach them to move sideways or halt or extend a bit more. In almost any situation the forward motion is the answer to an issue. Like doing a figure 8 and the horse gives a little resistance, you’d ask them to keep moving forward before you’d ask them to do anything else. If the horse gives a bit of a buck coming off the outside rein, ask them to move forward. The squeeze on both sides doesn’t give them much of a way out of the work you are asking of them. Horses are smart.
Forward is the way for them to grow…
I gave the definition to forward above. I was actually really shocked by the answers i found. An agreement, a covenant, or advance for a season. Wow. I did not know this word carried so much weight.
Forward is the way for growth…
In just a few days ill be on a plane to meet my teamates for our adventure. How does one spend their few days in the states? I went down to visit family. I know this is hard for them mostly because they said it but also their eyes say way more than their words ever could. There is nothing i can do to comfort them. As much as i want to, there isnt much i can physically do. They know ill be ok, but its hard to let go. I realized the forward–ness of life is hard. Its always letting go of something and grabbing onto the next. If we didn’t move forward what would happen? How would life be if we didn’t take chances? If we never jumped off the cliff, how does life play out? How does it ever move Forward? I think it would be a bit boring. In the horse world, if you never taught your horse to move forward it would never learn. It would never make mistakes. You’d never learn how to teach it or correct it. It would be something you just looked at because you couldn’t ride it.
What a waste…
Forward is the avenue to bring the Kingdom…
In order to become who we are meant to be, Forward is where we should go. To grow into our movements we must first walk forward. Forward teaches sideways, jumping, and even an all out gallop! Forward hurts though. Forward is the answer and the way to not waste what we’ve been given. So forward we go to learn who we are and find our feet.
Forward is an agreement with God…
