It's hard to believe that the first month of my world race experience has wrapped up. 4 weeks into the race and already, God has taught me so very much. Truth be told, I am still processing a lot of what I have seen and experience. Yet I have also concluded that it will be something that I will be processing probably for the rest if my life. One thing that I am quickly learning (have learned) is to be flexible and to realize that it is OKAY not knowing where in the world (literally) you are going. The day before we left Albania, is when we found out which country we would be going to next. As a person who likes to plan, this can prove to be a challenge, yet God has been providing a peace (and joy) in my heart even in the unknown parts of the race.

Through the unknown parts of traveling, God has taken me through a part of the world which I honestly never though I would see. I can now say that I have stamps in my passport from Greece, Macedonia (twice) and Kosovo.  The beauty of these countries alone, have blown my mind. Our God is so creative and the way He has painted and molded the world, is incredible! Trust me when I say that you have to get out and experience creation.  You will not regret it.

Although we do not know the exact ministry that we will be doing during this next month, we have made contact with our ministry host in Serbia and are all very excited for it. We are thinking it will be church ministry related. There are 3 teams heading to up to Serbia. Team Warriors of Light (the team I am on) will be 'riding solo' this month.

Pray for us as we travel to and from. As we connect with our ministry and simply, love on the people of Serbia. Pray that God will open our hearts, minds and souls to His continual leading.  Simply pray that we can and will, be His hands and feet.

I have learned through my life, that I have a spirit of adventure. This spirit has taking me on some pretty incredible journeys to different parts of the world. I have seen, and experienced, some pretty amazing things. Yet I have also experienced some pretty hard things. Following Jesus is not easy-whether that is at home in North America, or sitting in a hostel in Bulgaria (which is where I currently am). In fact scripture says that, as followers, we will be hated and persecuted for loving Jesus. Yet scripture also tells us that Jesus never will LEAVE US, nor forsake us. He is our Rock and Shield. Our Guide, Protector and Fighter. He is our Lover and our Best Friend. I am so stoked to be traveling the world with an amazing group of world changers. Yet what excites me more, is that we are not adventuring alone. We got Jesus. He is with us (me) every step of the way!

What about you?! Who are you adventuring with?!? Are you 'riding solo?' Or is Jesus in the taking control of the wheel of your life?!

(PS check out the quick photo video I put together last night of our month in Albania!)
