I can't even write as I am overwhelmed by God's love and for His desire for you to turn back to Him.

There is so much more to life that God has called you too. Get up, get out of the church pews and simply love people. Yes it is good to gather as believers and worship our Creator, but don't think that that is 'good enough'. Where did Jesus spend His time?!? With WHO did Jesus spend his time with? Was it not Jesus who purposely made a whip and drove the pagans out when they were using it for their gain?

As I sit here by myself within the walls of this ancient Roman Catholic Church here in Romania- surrounded by the gold, the confession booths, the organ, crosses and candles- I wonder, when did we get it so wrong?!?
I hear the whisper of prayers from the people around me. I don't know what they are saying but I know they are searching. I wonder- do they really know YOU?!? Do they really know just how much you LOVE them despite the junk in their lives? Despite their heritage, past and present being?!? Can they feel you?!
Yet I hear You now, calling "Nikki Nikki Nikki, do YOU really know just how much I love you? I am here, right next to you. I never left. I have always been here. Guess what- I will ALWAYS be here. Trust me. Trust me with the day to day things. It is in trusting me with the little things, that you are learning to trust me with the larger things. Do you feel me?!? I AM right next to you-always holding you and leading you in the way of the everlasting.
Dear Believers
It's time. It's time to rise up and to take a stand. When you say that you love Jesus, it's time to show it in your actions. Not just within the church walls, but every single moment of every single day that God has given you life. Yes you will fail. There will be days when the flesh will win. But take heart- Jesus has already overcame it (John 16:33). The battle for your(our) souls is happening everyday, but the victory has already been won.
Christ paid for you. He paid for me. He paid even for your enemy through a few simple words…
"It is finished"
Do you hear it?! Do you hear that whisper in your life?!?
It's Jesus. He is telling you that you are His and He loves you.
(*Note; this is in no way an 'attack' or anything like that…only a few thoughts that have been going on in my head in the last month or so. please extend grace and love as I process and continue on the journey God has me on!)
