Let’s talk about the last year shall we?

I’ve been doing a lot of processing the last few weeks. There is a lot to think about honestly. This has been almost a whole year of my life.

When I left the country I was 22 years old and now I’m 23.

When I left the country I didn’t know myself at all…I still don’t really but I know a whole lot more now than I did. Especially about how I interact with people and how I do quiet time best and how I recharge my battery.

When I left the country I had just graduated college and now I’ve been an alumni for a year and still have no idea what I want to do next.

When I left the country I knew a little about the Bible and didn’t know a whole lot about the Holy Spirit and now I know a whole lot more about both.

When I left the country I had been to 2 other countries and now I’ve been to 13!

When I left the country I only knew my squad mates a little and now I know more about them than I even care to admit. (There is nothing off limits around this crew haha.)

When I left the country I had seen heart break but now I’ve seen more than ever, yet I know the Lord is still good.

When I left the country I knew a lot of people and now I know a whole heck of a lot more and I love them all so so so much! I’ve got friends all over the world now y’all!

When I left the country my big pack was heavy and now it’s loaded down with different stuff…but it’s still heavy. Some things never change.

When I left the country I thought I had tasted a lot of different foods…now I know I have and I love almost all of it!

When I left the country I had expectations for this year and God exceeded alllll of them! Wow He is so so good y’all!

I’ve still got a lot to think about but these are just a few examples of things that have changed and grown in my heart over the last 11 months.

Thank you for all your love and support I couldn’t have done it without you!

Blessings,

Niki
